Community
Serving the communities where we work and live is a core component of the Carolina Handling culture. We support schools, nonprofit organizations and other charitable causes throughout our territory with donations of time, funds and equipment.
Each fiscal year, Carolina Handling selects a primary area of philanthropic focus while continuing to support the foundational areas of education, health and wellness and veteran assistance.

FY24
In FY24, we focused on children with chronic and terminal illnesses. We donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities and children’s hospitals across the Southeast. We collected and delivered diapers and care packages. And we hosted events to raise the spirits and well-being of children in our community.

FY25
In FY 25, we joined the fight against hunger with a campaign called Handling Hunger Together. In addition to making monetary donations to food banks across our footprint, our associates volunteered to pack food boxes, prepare meals, participate in food pantry cleanup days and repair material handling equipment at hunger relief agencies.
And to commemorate our 58th year in business in 2024, we launched a campaign called 58 for 58, donating motorized pallet jacks to 58 hunger relief organizations across the Carolinas, Georgia and Alabama.

FY26
In FY26, we’re Raising the Roof for the unhoused. We’re building and renovating homes for those living on the streets, collecting wish list items for area shelters and supporting job training, transportation and other services to help empower and heal the homeless in our communities.
