Electric Forklift
Electric forklift is a forklift truck powered by an electric motor instead of an internal combustion (IC) engine using either rechargeable industrial batteries or external ways of conveying power (wire, rail, etc.).
Elevated Height
The vertical distance from the floor to the load
carrying surface adjacent to the heel of the
forks with mast vertical, and in the case of reach
trucks, with the forks extended.
Ergonomics
The study of work organization, and the human/machine interface in particular. Not to be
confused with mere appearance, ergonomic
design is a science devoted to helping the
machine operator be more productive by allowing
him/her to operate more efficiently, comfortably,
and safely.
Extended Height
The vertical distance from the floor to the top
of the uppermost structure of the truck (mast,
carriage, load handler) in the maximum height
position.
